Elevated Healthcare Hospitality, in partnership with our healthcare agencies, provides exceptional hospitality to patients and guests offering a suite of transportation logistics including shuttle transportation and valet parking in a thoughtful, compassionate and meaningful way.
Guest Services SupervisorWill enjoy overseeing the activities of the Shuttle Drivers, Valets, Cashiers and Garage Attendants. This includes effective coaching and mentoring of staff, providing appropriate training that addresses professional conduct, service standards and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Serve as a welcoming and reassuring first point of contact for patients and visitors arriving at the hospital
- Actively manage valet lane traffic to maintain safe, continuous vehicle flow and prevent congestion
- Communicate clearly with drivers, patients, visitors, and valet staff to coordinate arrivals and departures
- Assist patients and visitors with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices with care and sensitivity
- Provide directions to hospital departments, entrances, and services as needed
- Explain the valet parking and vehicle retrieval process clearly and efficiently
- Monitor the valet lane for safety hazards, accessibility needs, and emergency vehicle access
- Maintain an organized, clean, and orderly valet lane at all times
- Respond calmly and professionally in high-stress situations or during peak arrival periods
- Support hospital safety protocols and patient-experience standards
- Close coordination with valet, security and hospital staff
- Understand company management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
- Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned
- Must have 3 years driving experience
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions; exposure to varying weather conditions and high traffic volume
- Ability to assist with wheelchairs and mobility equipment as necessary
- Must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Clear verbal communication and strong situational awareness
- Possess positive and professional communication and strong customer service skills with a compassionate, patient centered approach
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet (up to 8 hours per day) in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
This position is located in the GWV facility in Wilkes-Barre PA.
