Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support K-12 students in a school setting. This role offers a full-semester contract with a start date as soon as possible and continues through August 7, 2026. The position is ideal for candidates who value working closely with students and providing impactful therapy services in school environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grades, focusing on individual and group interventions.
  • Cover maternity leave assignments within Lackawanna County and, in the spring, serve itinerant students in the Dunmore area.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation and progress reports.
  • Adhere to school district guidelines and Pennsylvania state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license required.
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is essential.
  • Ability to obtain and complete all Pennsylvania clearances for school employment.
  • Reliable transportation is required for onsite assignments.
  • Flexibility to work full-time (35 hours per week), with part‑time candidates considered.
Work Environment
  • Onsite position with direct interaction with students and staff.
  • Interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
