Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

• Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Wilkes-Barre, PA and all of Luzerne County

Part-time, Weekday, Weekend, Evening shifts available

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

This position complies with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care/home health services. You will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
