Overview
This position will provide one to one and/or group support and intervention when required including behavioral modification techniques and proactive strategies to stabilize the child or adolescent as outlined in the Individualized Treatment Plan and accept additions to caseload as assigned. The Behavioral Health Technician will take direction from the Behavioral Consultant of Northeast Counseling Services.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in a Mental Health or Human Service field with no prior work experience
- OR a Bachelor's degree in any field with one year full-time paid work experience with children or adolescents
- OR an Associate s Degree or 60 credits toward a Bachelor s degree with at least three years full-time paid work experience with children or adolescents
- OR a high school diploma with two years full time paid work experience with children or adolescents
- OR a high school diploma with 40 hours of RBT training.
Ongoing training and workshops are provided and are mandatory as is knowledge of the CASSP System. Knowledge of the mental health and social service field; familiarity with and ability to access community resources; ability to make accurate assessments of client needs and to be creative in seeking appropriate services; ability to organize time efficiently to meet client needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame.
Pay: $19.00 per hour

This position requires the successful completion of an FBI Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance.
