  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
  • Active, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Knowledge of recovery principles and the recovery‑driven service system
  • Understanding of adults with serious mental illness and/or intellectual developmental disability
Description

Merakey is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) based in Wilkes Barre, PA. The RN will provide high‑quality, recovery‑oriented care to individuals diagnosed with both a mental illness and an intellectual disability.

Schedule – 40 hours per week, 1st shift, Monday – Friday

Compensation – $37.60 per hour plus mileage reimbursement

Position Details – The RN will serve Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna Counties. The role is field‑based: the RN will visit consumers in their homes, travel between sites, and document all work in the electronic medical record.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to implement recovery‑oriented, person‑centered treatment and support plans
  • Perform physical health monitoring, assessment, and other medical tasks
  • Support delivery of intensive therapeutic services in diverse settings, including community living arrangements, schools, community settings, and natural support residences
  • Complete accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in a shared on‑call rotation
