Physician Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Summary:

Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Great opportunity to practice community-based, hospital medicine in an academic system.

• 7on/7off schedule

• Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above.

• Level III NICU onsite.

• AP support in the nursery.

• Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED.

• Receive consults from other services on admitted patients.

• Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine - (Required)

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania (Certification and License Required).
