Job Summary:
Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Great opportunity to practice community-based, hospital medicine in an academic system.
7on/7off schedule
Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above.
Level III NICU onsite.
AP support in the nursery.
Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED.
Receive consults from other services on admitted patients.
Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine - (Required)
ExperienceLicensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania (Certification and License Required).
