The Purchasing Manageris  responsibleforleading and executing company’s procurement strategy to ensure timely,cost-effective and compliant acquisition of materials, equipment, subcontractedservicesandadditionalsuppliesrequiredto support operations.

• Oversee the Purchasing department and staff.
• Implements a procurement strategy,purchasingpolicies and internal controls to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Performs full cycle purchase ordering for the office and the field.
• Reviewsplans,specifications and contracts to ensure that the correct items and quantities arepurchased.
• Collaborates with project managers,engineers and the fieldto ensuretimelydelivery of materials.
• Establishesandmaintainsrelationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Attend trade showsand analyze market trends, materialpricingand supply chain risks to manage cost fluctuations and shortages.
• Resolvesvendor disputes, including product or pricing issues.

• Must beat least 18 years of age
• High school degreeor GED required
• Previous experience with Site Development and Heavy Civil Construction preferred (earthwork, utility installation, roadway infrastructure)
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with purchasing or inventory management systems
• Ability to work well withindividually or as a member of a team
