This individual will maintain and repair all plant motors, wire motor leads, adjust rotation on three-phase motors, and properly size fuses and overload heaters. They will install and replace bearings and shaft seals, perform pump installation and maintenance, and handle the layout and installation of piping and tubing systems. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing hydraulic circuits, supporting rigging operations for equipment removal and installation, and assisting with new equipment installs and retrofit projects.
Other duties may be assigned based on facility needs.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience (3-5 years) within an industrial environment as a maintenance technician.
Experience with Extrusion Equipment a plus but not required.
• Operate and maintain all DC and AC electrical control systems including electrical motor and drive systems.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing of simple to complex control systems utilizing PLC's.
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (control and 480 V).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, pumping systems, and air compressors
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Ability to provide personal hand tools.
