Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time, Per Diem

Cypress Care Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a full‑time, in‑house position within our subacute rehabilitation unit. In this impactful role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide high‑quality care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

• Assist in Treatment:
  Support Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ mobility and functional abilities.
• Therapeutic Interventions:
  Provide hands‑on therapy, including exercises and modalities, to help residents regain strength and coordination.
• Patient Monitoring:
  Observe and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist for necessary adjustments.

  Educate residents and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated care.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure:
  Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills:
  
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a passion for patient care and teamwork.
