The Role:The Marketing Assistant is responsible for carrying out various day to day marketing activity, ensuring Morson Nexus is well represented at all times. Organisation and attention to detail is essential in order to assist the wider Marketing team to execute the marketing plan and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:Content Creation
- Carry out detailed content research for use across all marketing channels
- Produce high quality content for the company website
- Carry out graphic design work
- Ensure media resources are updated regularly and well organised, including taking photos, gathering stock images and creating graphic designs.
- Assisting with other content creation as required by the wider team including case studies, video, infographics etc.
- Keeping up to date with industry news and updates to ensure the company is involved in all relevant discussions
- Writing and scheduling social media content across all channels
- Engaging with followers/connections across social media channels
- Supporting wider teams in their use of social media
- Review and report on social media performance
- Assist with the creation of email campaigns including data segmentation, content writing, A/B testing and email creation
- Ensuring data is updated accordingly between our CRM and email marketing system
- Review and report on email performance
- Organise marketing stock and distribution
- Gather quotes, place orders and maintain relationships with print and merchandise suppliers
- First point of contact for Marketing requests and queries
- Answer department calls and take detailed messages for colleagues when required
- Ensure the company is well promoted at all times
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Experience in a similar marketing role would be preferable
- Excellent IT skills and experience using creative software such as Adobe, mailchimp (or similar) are essential
- Excellent written communication skills including grammar is essential
- Great attention to detail is required
- Organisation and prioritisation skills
- Hard working, team player
