About the role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Customer Inventory Controller to join our team.

Successful candidate will work closely with our customer service team, picking and packing finished goods and answering pick requests/queries, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered in line with business and customer requirements.

Accountabilities
  • Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Dispatch goods off the system daily and look ahead to combine shipments.
  • Wrap, strap and book in finished goods.
  • Work closely with Customer Services to ensure all picks are completed and queries are answered.
  • Operate a forklift truck to load finished goods deliveries, ensuring all paperwork including booking in & despatching is accurately completed.
  • Daily picking and packing of finished goods.
  • Store pallets efficiently, safely and securely.
  • Load and unload deliveries, ensuring they are logged and stored correctly.
  • Carry out stock counting (full or cycle count) as required.
  • Provide support to colleagues and carry out additional duties as requested.
  • Ensure the picking and packing area is clear and tidy.
  • Create commercial invoices for export shipments.
  • Ensure customs documents are received and filed in the correct location.
  • Scan and file all delivery documents in the correct location.
  • Book in raw material and merchandise stock.
Skills and Attributes
  • Forklift truck licence (training will be provided रिज if needed).
  • Good level of numeracy & literacy.
  • Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Some experience of basic administration/record keeping.
  • Exposure to quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a production setting.
