CNC Machinist

Recruit4staff are representing a well‑established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in Wigan
.

Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling centres to manufacture bespoke, low‑volume components. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD files to determine optimal manufacturing techniques. Using offline CAD‑CAM software to create tool paths and machining instructions. Running CNC Millers with Hurco controls to achieve maximum efficiency in batch production.

• Pay: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum
• Hours of Work:
  Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm
• Duration:
  Permanent
• Overtime Rules:
  Plenty of overtime available, paid at x1.5
• Benefits:

• Programming and operating milling machines with Hurco controls
• Previous experience of machining first off samples
• Offline programming experience

• Engineering City and Guilds or ONC qualifications
