Position: Quality Inspector (Permanent)
An exciting Quality Inspector position has become available in Atherton, Manchester at a precision engineering company.

Job Title:

Quality Inspector

Shifts:

39 hour working week. Monday to Thursday: 06:45 to 15:15 Friday: 06:45 to 14:15
Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days Annual leave + Bank holidays
Rate: £20.32 per hour

Job Role:

* Performing Goods Inwards,

* Pre-Paint and Final Inspections.

* Measuring parts in accordance with engineering drawings using various types of measuring equipment, including external micrometers, 3-legged bore micrometers, stick micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers and gauges.

* Completing dimensional reports / inspection drawings.

* Visually inspection of parts for weld spatter, damage, burrs, paint quality, part marking etc. Completing inspection sign off documentation.

* Stamping parts.

* Carrying out stencilling and paint touch ups – as required.

* Tapping threaded holes – as required. Packing – as required. Assembling parts – as required.
Requirements:

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and test equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* CMM experience is a benefit
