Production Supervisor

We re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our on-site-solution in Wigan. It s the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career into a management role. The role will include hands-on operational work with scheduled time to build your skills in the value-add of management, including time working on H&S, Quality and your managerial skillsets.

This role is working Monday to Friday rotating  and  shifts. £28,000-£31,000 + 20% shift allowance.

CHEP manage a large pallet pool which is rented out to customers, and our operations repair and maintain the pallets. The primary purpose of the role is to lead a shift of 10-15 staff, youll promote continuous improvement, safety and quality metrics whilst providing leadership to your team. Youll also build and maintain good relations with 3rd party management teams on site.

• Supervise, develop, and coach employees to build and maintain good relationships with third party management teams.
• Continuous improvement via systemic change based on data and root cause (i.e. Data analysis and improvement / correction plans).
• Ownership and control of all quality related issues on their site/shift.
• Drive a zero-harm culture within the site/shift.
