We are looking for an Assistant Practice Manager to join our dynamic and highly motivated team delivering excellent healthcare for our NHS Surgery
SSP Healths Managers benefitfrom our substantial network of back office support functions to allow each toreally focus on patient services and lead the local team of doctors, nurses andstaff.
You will ideally have some experience in a General Practice setting together with an understanding of the rapidly changing healthcare environment. Applications will also be welcomed from non Primary Care Managers who are able to identify transferable skillsthat can support our practice.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills together with proven experience in managing people and monitoring performance targets is required. You must be highly self-motivated,organised and able to motivate your team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be confident with IT and enjoy working flexibly ina rapidly changing environment.
You will have the aptitude tosupport practice engagement with the wider health economy as required, such aslocal Primary Care Networks, local practice manager networks and community care providers, to ensure that we are consistently kept aware of best practice andnew developments.

- Meeting minutes for PM/ Clinical and practice meeting
- Management Reporting
- PPG Participation meetings and feedback
- HR and recruitment of staff
- Job Responsibilities:
- The post holder will:
- Monitor and assist in the evaluation of performance of the practice team against objectives whilst managing change
- Develop and maintain effective communication both within the practice and with relevant outside agenciesincluding the practice website and NHS Choices
- Management of Patient Services &Patient Information
- KPI/Enhanced Services/Performance Management/Contract Management
- Increase Practice feedback
- Assist with audits
- Creating good relationships with GPclinical lead and PCN clinical lead
