Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager ready to lead something new from the ground up?

We are looking for a values-driven, proactive leader to open and manage a brand-new service in Wigan, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new service from day one, build your own team, and establish a culture rooted in high-quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager
  • Take the lead on the registration, setup, and launch of the new service
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a new staff team
  • Ensure full CQC compliance and adherence to internal quality standards
  • Create a culture of positive behaviour support, inclusion, and dignity
  • Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and health professionals
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, staffing, and service development
Registered Manager Requirements :
  • Management experience within the Health and Social Care
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of the current CQC care standards in order to help ensure our service is Safe, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well-led
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in learning disability or autism services
  • Experience opening a new service (or managing service transitions / growth) is highly desirable
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in person-centred care
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed
