Finance & Accounts Manager | Devon | Office-Based | £40,000 £ 45,000 DOE An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a well-established and growing business based near South Molton, Devon. They are now looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting the businesss continued success.

This is a permanent, full-time role within a small, friendly team, offering stability, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact. As Finance & Accounts Manager, youll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and full compliance across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and being at the heart of a business.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance & Accounts Manager:
Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including analysis and insight Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and payment processes Oversee product costing reviews and report key variances to management Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax, and financial legislation, including VAT and HMRC submissions Lead the annual accounts and audit process Maintain strong financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations, and risk management across the business Oversee payroll reporting, payment runs, stock takes, and inter-group transactions Review and manage key company contracts, policies, and financial systems

What Were Looking For :
Youll be a confident and organised finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working independently when required. Essential skills and experience: AAT Level 3 (minimum) Experience using Xero Familiarity with MAM Software (or willingness to learn) Strong systems, reporting, and analytical skills
