Aspire People are excited to be recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant for a wonderful primary school in the heart of Ashton-In-Makerfield. This school prides itself on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 4 to 11, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), through its dedicated SEND bases. We are looking for someone who shares the school's commitment to delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive learning space for all students.

• A compassionate, patient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children.
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children is preferred, particularly in a SEND setting, though experience in similar environments will also be considered.
• Ability to support children in the classroom, as well as in small group or 1:1 settings, tailoring your approach to each pupil's unique needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Understanding of child development and a commitment to promoting both learning and wellbeing for every student.
