Secondary Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils in secondary schools across Wigan, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom and make a real impact on students’ learning and development.

The Role:

Support teachers in delivering lessons across all subjects

Assist pupils individually or in small groups to improve learning outcomes

Encourage positive behaviour and participation in class

Help with lesson preparation and classroom activities

Support pupils with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be patient, friendly and adaptable

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Be proactive in supporting learning and classroom management

Have experience with children or a desire to work in education

Understand safeguarding procedures (training is provided)

Have the ability to commute to Wigan
