Teaching Assistant

Hazel Tree Education are working with an outstanding Specialist College in Leigh.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Candidates Must be comfortable with assisting learners with an element of Personal care.

The position is due to start in September, Monday
- Friday 8:25-3:05.

What we’re looking for:

* A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.

* An interest in supporting children with additional needs.

* A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.

Successful candidates must have:

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one

* At least two references including most recent/current employer.

* Right to work in the UK.

* A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
