. Salary: MPS / UPS + UPS 2C.
Contract:
Full time, permanent.
Start date:
April 2026 (or sooner, if available). Closing date: 6 February 2026, 12:00pm.

The RoleYou will:
- Run the PE Faculty
- Teach PE up to KS4
- Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
- Monitor and support student progress and development
- Contribute to raising standards of attainment
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental planning
- Engage in pastoral responsibilities as a form tutor
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ability to teach PE up to KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE
- Excellent classroom management and teaching skills
- Commitment to professional development and teamwork
Desirable:
- Ability to teach an additional subject
- Previous experience as a middle leader
- Supportive and forward-thinking leadership
- Access to high-quality CPD, including NPQs
- Opportunities for career progression within The Rowan Learning Trust
- A caring and inclusive school environment
