OverviewHours:
37 hours per week Term time plus 15 days.
Contract:
Permanent. Salary:
Grade 7 SCP 15-17 (26,690.68 to 28,770.14). Start:
January 2025.
- Monitor and support all students in a specific year group, providing a familiar friendly face and role model.
- Understand the challenges faced by secondary school students, particularly vulnerable students.
- Work closely with the Inclusion Team and Vice Principal to devise intervention strategies to support academic achievement.
- Emphasise intervention and student tracking using the Praising Stars system.
- Attend case conferences and other meetings; prepare referrals and reports for students needing intervention.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support, promoting equality and valuing diversity.
