Grade 7, £27,914 - £31,139 per annum. 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year Required as soon as possible.

Our Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead and Pastoral Manager to join our team. Ince CE Primary School is a large two‑form‑entry primary school in the heart of Ince.

The successful candidate will help to support our children and their families in a manner that reflects our school ethos. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping children overcome barriers to their learning and will support children’s well‑being in a warm, calm and caring way.

We are looking for someone who: (i) strives to always embody Christian values, loves children and the Ince community, and wants to work hard to improve their lives; (ii) acts as a role model in all aspects of life; (iii) strives to have a spirit of excellence in all that they do.

The successful candidate must be able to evidence and demonstrate:

  • Hold the Designated Safeguarding Training qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of opening Early Helps for families.
  • Expertise in monitoring and implementing action plans for pupil attendance.
  • Knowledge and understanding of attending child protection meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and up‑to‑date documentation of all cases of safeguarding and child protection, and report where required.
  • Arrange and lead meetings with parents/carers and external agencies in support of pupils and their families.
  • Be responsible for safeguarding training for all staff, ensuring the school is compliant with all statutory safeguarding guidance and policy.
