We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Hindley (WN2) to work on a long-term basis, commencing as soon as possible!

The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is to start immediately until Thur. This KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday, 08:30am- 16:00pm. The role of a KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a timetable to follow each week and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

Your role & responsibilities:

* Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work

* Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work

* Managing behaviour

* Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

* You must have relevant experience teaching pupils

* Hold QTS

* Knowledge of the national curriculum

* Be passionate and understanding

* Have confidence in managing classes of pupils

* Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

* Good communication skills
