Flexible Cover Teacher – Wigan Schools

We are looking for a Flexible Cover Teacher to provide teaching support across primary and secondary schools in Wigan
. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to gain experience across multiple school settings.

• Delivering lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Following lesson plans and supporting pupils to achieve learning objectives
• Liaising with school staff to provide feedback on lessons and pupil progress

• Qualified teacher (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience
• Confident managing classrooms across different year groups and subjects
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Work across a variety of schools in Wigan

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
