Position: Labourer (Contract)
Description
Careys Civil Engineering is looking for hardworking and reliable Labourers to support our site teams in delivering safe, high‑quality civil engineering projects.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining site safety, supporting trades, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist trades and site teams with general labouring duties.

* Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.

* Move materials, tools, and equipment around site.

* Support with basic tasks such as digging, sweeping, and loading/unloading deliveries.

* Follow site safety rules and report any hazards or issues.

* Work as part of a team to ensure efficient site progress.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Valid CSCS card.

* Previous labouring or construction site experience (preferred but not essential).

* Good work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

* Ability to work safely and follow instructions.

* Physically fit for manual, hands‑on tasks.
