Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, professional, and versatile HGV Technician to join our Service Department in Widnes.
This role offers a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, providing an excellent work-life balance while working on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers in a supportive, well-organised workshop.
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, you will undertake maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work on commercial vehicles and trailers.
Complete all paperwork and procedures relating to warranty, contract, and retail work accurately.
Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs and downtime.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team under the guidance of the Workshop Controller.
What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds).
Proven experience in the diagnosis, servicing, and repair of commercial vehicles.
Organised, methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-focused attitude.
