We’re looking for a high-energy, self-motivated
** Business Development Manager
** who lives for growth and isn’t afraid to go after it. This is a role for someone with real drive, resilience, and the confidence to make things happen in a competitive market.

** Field based role covering - Widnes, St Helens and Birkenhead
** All applicants must have a full UK driving license

* Job Purpose:

** To drive profitable sales growth by actively winning new business, developing key customer relationships and consistently exceeding performance targets.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Building powerful relationships with existing customer's and becoming their go-to partner.
* Actively hunting for new business opportunities and opening doors across your territory.
* Driving sales performance and consistently exceeding targets.
* Representing the business within the local market, including customer visits.
* Working closely with branch teams to deliver outstanding service.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.

* What we're looking for:

*** A self-starter with a genuine hunger to succeed.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and resilience.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* A strong commercial awareness with a winning mindset.
* Experience in the building merchant or construction industry (ideal but not essential).
* All applicants must have a full UK driving license.
