As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the reliability of our site’s operations. Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical support to our production department, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

• Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and overhauls of plant equipment and site facilities.
• Comply with site SHE procedures, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and promote a positive safety culture.
• Coordinate with other trades and support functions to complete tasks efficiently.
• Share and develop skills across multiple disciplines to enhance team performance.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the workshop and across the site.

• HNC/HND in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline (or working towards).
• Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
• Time-served mechanical apprenticeship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to undertake certified confined space entry tasks as required.

• Maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment.
• Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
