Support Worker – Glenwood Care Home, Ditton, Widnes

We’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic individuals to join us in providing person‑centred care to 12 residents across two cosy 6‑bedroom bungalows. This is a permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) with shift times from 07:45 to 20:15, including waking night shifts supported by a nurse on duty.

• Support daily routines and personal care activities for residents.
• Assist with medication administration, catheter care, nebulisers and other nursing tasks as trained.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and encourage independence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
• Work in teams, collaborating with nursing and care staff.

• Kind, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Previous experience in care, support or healthcare is a plus but not required; we hire based on values.
• Effective communicator and team player.

• £12.62 per hour.
