Senior Test / Development Engineer

We are looking for a hands‑on engineer to collaborate with our design team on the development of new test procedures, associated equipment, and general test and fault diagnosis of electronic systems across a wide range of customer products.

• Technical supervision of test activities undertaken by technician staff.
• Diagnosis and resolution of issues with products under test.
• Maintenance and improvement of existing test rigs, equipment, and programs.
• Specification, development, and construction of new test rigs and test equipment.

• Degree‑level education in electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role or industry acceptable in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and aptitude for achieving ‘right first time’ results under challenging project timescales.
• Good general computer skills.
• Willingness to undertake specific system‑level training as required.

20 days holiday plus an additional day for each complete year of service, up to a maximum of 24 days plus paid bank holidays; 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme; free parking; 4‑day working week (Mon‑Thurs) 7 am‑5 pm.
