Your new company Desian Education are proud to be supporting a Widnes-based single-form entry primary school that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking to appoint 2 highly motivated and experienced teaching assistants to support pupils with SEN (special educational needs) consisting of ADHD, ASD and SEMH across the school.
You will be joining a highly experienced and supportive team within this role, directly reporting into the SENCO and working in collaboration with class teachers.
Responsibilities- Implementation of regulation strategies, support plans and positive behaviour strategies
- Delivering ELSA interventions
- Tailoring lesson plans to best suit individual needs
- Accurately monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews/meetings by giving accurate feedback on outcomes
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Recent relevant referenceable experience working with children and young people
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Experienced delivering ELSA support
- The ability to effectively manage complex behavioural needs
- Be able to commit to a full‑time 32.5 hour contract
