Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

The Role – EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Reception. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with early phonics, language development, and numeracy
Assisting with child-led and play-based learning
Leading small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed
Supporting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and assessments
Helping maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have experience in an EYFS/primary school setting (school-based or nursery)
Hold a relevant childcare/TA qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Are proactive, patient, nurturing, and creative
Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
