About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access the curriculum and positively engage in learning. You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and wider staff to ensure pupils’ individual needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Assist with personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
- Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver inclusive and engaging learning
- Promote a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment
