Tooling Tech

Responsibilities

• Wax die calibration including all required documentation.
• Routine die and fixture maintenance.
• Perform all required insert and integral marking changes.
• Special pin and/or insert changes including documentation for special lots/Engineering trials.
• Inject sample patterns after rework of tools for Engineering release.
• Perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Minor die and fixture repairs.
• Calibration of wax wall template, chaplet templates, gages & fixtures, wax assembly jigs, setter blocks, wax assembly heads.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well organized.
• Knowledge of use of height stand, micrometers, bridge gages a plus.
• Some heavy lifting required.
