Upper Puldagon Farm is recruiting a Chef to lead its busy farm to fork kitchen in Caithness. This role suits a confident chef who enjoys working with high quality local produce and shaping seasonal menus.
The role- You will manage the day to day running of a busy daytime kitchen.
- You will lead service and organise the kitchen team.
- You will create seasonal specials using home reared beef, lamb and pork.
- You will help design and develop new menus.
- You will maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- You will manage stock and ordering where required.
This is a daytime role.
Live in accommodation may be available for the right candidate.
What we are looking for- Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen is essential.
- You must be confident leading service.
- You should enjoy working with produce led menus.
- You must be organised and able to work under pressure.
- A creative and practical approach is important.
