Position SummaryThe role is responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating critical logistics information, including master data, delivery schedules, stock and order status, and contract details from suppliers, procurement, and logistics service providers. The position ensures smooth material and product availability by analyzing operational logistics status, identifying issues, and implementing corrective or alternative measures in response to changing conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update data related to suppliers, procurement, delivery schedules, and stock/order status.
- Monitor logistics operations and proactively communicate updates or deviations to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute deficiency and status reports on material and product availability for Project Logistics Management (PLM).
- Investigate and document complaints or transport damages in collaboration with departments such as Purchasing, Insurance, Quality, Engineering, and Controlling.
- Coordinate the return of logistics infrastructure and on-site equipment, managing associated service providers.
- Support PLM in developing and implementing logistics contingency plans.
- Assist in project evaluations, process improvements, and customer supply planning.
- May contribute to supplier evaluation and tender preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field (entry-level or up to 2 years of experience).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, supplier coordination, and data management.
- Basic understanding of ERP or logistics software systems preferred.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Work is routine but involves regular prioritization and problem‑solving due to changing operational needs.
- Guidance provided by supervisors, with growing independence expected over time.
- Opportunities to support and advise less experienced colleagues as experience develops.
