Job Opportunity:
Field Service Representative – Locations:
Wichita, Kansas.
Start Date:
Immediate.
Schedule:
Full-Time (40 hours/week).
- Non-Medical Case Management:
Provide comprehensive non-medical case management services to service members and their families; monitor case progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care; maintain detailed case documentation and track outcomes. - Benefits Navigation & Expertise:
Guide service members through complex benefits applications, appeals, and transitions; advise on eligibility requirements, timelines, and required documentation; advocate for clients to ensure they receive all entitled benefits and stay current on policy changes. - Resource Allocation & Coordination:
Build and maintain relationships with federal agencies, VA facilities, and community organizations; connect clients with healthcare, financial, educational, employment, and social support resources; track resource utilization and program effectiveness. - Independent Work & Travel:
Manage a caseload autonomously while maintaining quality standards; travel 20-30% to military installations, VA facilities, and client locations; conduct on-site assessments and represent the organization professionally at meetings and events.
- Experience with VA benefits and military disability systems, with the ability to navigate complex federal programs.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions without constant oversight.
- Understanding of Marine Corps culture and effective communication with service members and their families.
- Likely a military spouse or veteran—or someone who values service and purpose.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Five (5) years of experience working with the federal government and three (3) years in non-medical case management or resource allocation.
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs, eligibility, and application processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of TDRL and PDRL systems.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel 20-30% throughout the region.
