The Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep and reliability of company vehicles, heavy equipment, and shop tools across our operations. This is an entry-level, training-provided role for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn a skilled trade, and able to think critically when troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with equipment, learning from experienced technicians, and contributing to a team environment, while also providing occasional warehouse support as needed to help maintain workflow and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with maintenance and repairs on:
Fleet vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, box trucks), heavy equipment (lifts, skid steers, jobsite machinery), shop tools and small engines - Perform basic inspections, fluid checks, tire changes, and routine servicing
- Support troubleshooting and diagnostics under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Accurately document work performed and report equipment issues
- Transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed
- Provide occasional warehouse support when mechanical workload is light
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Valid driver’s license required
- No prior mechanic experience required — training provided
- Willingness to learn and grow in a skilled trade
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and hands-on tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
- Must pass drug screen and physical capacity test prior to employment
- Mechanical, automotive, or equipment interest
- Trade school, shop class, or hands-on repair experience
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Full-time
Pay: 16.00 - 20.00 per hour
