Service Engineer​/Fitter – South East

Ready power Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for a motivated and experienced Fitter to support our workshop with services, inspections, modifications, and upgrades to our fleet. This is a full-time opportunity based in the South East.

• Undertake preventative maintenance tasks in line with the equipment maintenance plans and services schedules
• Carry out repair works and planned inspections to determine whether plant and equipment is fit for purpose. This includes modifications and upgrades of plant and machinery
• Complete maintenance records fully and in a timely manner
• Assist with depot workshop maintenance

• Experience in rail plant, agriculture or civils plant
• Good understanding of English
• Passionate, hardworking, and driven
• A full, clean driving licence

• PTS / Sentinel card
• Level 2 in Plant Repair and Maintenance or similar
• Credited Certification for LOLER
