Job Title:
Heavy Equipment Service Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
- Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
- Repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems on a variety of heavy equipment.
- Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy equipment.
- Clean and service machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
- Consult and collaborate with other mechanics.
- Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Must have strong working knowledge of computer testing technologies.
- Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
- Ability to work after-hours if required.
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with several levels of the organization.
- Clean, valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass pre-employment testing, including drug screen.
