Mobile Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Mobile
Are you a mobile engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be mobile in London? Exciting opportunity to work for a family‑run FM service provider situated in London & M25. CBW is currently looking for 2 × Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to cover approximately 10‑15 commercial buildings in London & M25
. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This mobile position will require the successful candidates to attend a number of sites where they will carry out PPM/Reactive maintenance to electrical and mechanical plant, with particular emphasis on electrical & mechanical maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum based on experience/qualifications, overtime and further training.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Weekly Fire Alarm Tests and log
- Weekly AOV test and Log
- L8 water hygiene monitoring
- Fan Coil Unit servicing
- HIU/CIU servicing (Training will be given)
- AHU servicing
- MVHR servicing
- Weekly/Monthly Generator test and log
- Weekly CHP Checks and log
- Monthly Car Park smoke ventilation test and log
- Monthly/Annual Emergency Lighting test and log
- Supervision of Sub Contractors
- Assist with preparation of Quotations for remedial works
- Be available for duty call‑out cover, on a rota basis (currently 1 in
8)
Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
Requirements- City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of commercial building maintenance
- Multi‑skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Up to £45,000 (based on experience / qualifications)
- Company vehicle with fuel card and float
- Call‑out 1 in 8
