Security Officer - Hospital Roving Patrol

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate medical staff and/or emergency services as directed by post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention;
Monitor access points and interior corridors, verify authorized entry as required, and assist with visitor direction and/or way finding in accordance with site policies;
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in written logs and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel and site contacts
