What You'll Do - You will represent Tru Green by engaging directly with homeowners to understand their needs and offer tailored lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a chance to connect, educate, and secure their business.
- Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, demonstrating professionalism, energy, and positivity.
- Tailor your sales messaging according to the distinct lawn care needs of each household since no two yards (or customers) are alike.
- Transform opportunities into signed contracts through our proven sales techniques and processes.
- Document interactions and monitor performance using a CRM to track your activity and results, because metrics matter as much as follow-through.
- Cross-sell and upsell effectively by leveraging your expertise to help customers enhance their lawns.
What You'll Bring - You don't need to have a green thumb to excel here, just a strong drive and excellent people skills to ensure every doorstep feels like a warm lead.
- A high school diploma or GED is required (a PhD in People Skills is highly encouraged).
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage, but passion and determination are even more valuable.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential, as we value reliable and road-ready representatives.
- Strong communication skills, whether it's small talk or closing deals, ensuring all interactions are both smart and sincere.
- Excellent time management skills and a self-driven mindset, as you thrive when working independently.
- Comfortable with technology and mobile devices (no coding required, just tapping, swiping, and going).
- Physically able to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while performing outdoor work.
