Position: Field Sales Consultant - Base Salary + Unlimited Commissions

As a Tru Green Field Sales Consultant, you'll be the friendly face in neighborhoods, connecting directly with homeowners to showcase the advantages of personalized lawn care solutions. Armed with enthusiasm, expertise, and our tried-and-true Sales Playbook, your goal is to create lasting customer relationships right at their doorsteps.

Key Responsibilities

As the representative of Tru Green, you'll engage homeowners face-to-face to identify their unique needs and deliver tailored lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a new opportunity to connect, educate, and secure business.

  • Engage with potential and existing customers through door-to-door outreach with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Customize sales messages to address the specific lawn care needs of each household.
  • Utilize a proven sales methodology to turn inquiries into signed customers.
  • Log interactions and monitor performance through a CRM system to track activity and results.
  • Cross-sell and upsell by demonstrating expertise that enhances customer lawns.
Qualifications

You don’t need to be a lawn care expert, just bring a drive to succeed and strong people skills.

  • High school diploma or GED is required (interpersonal skills are highly valued).
  • Prior sales or customer service experience is beneficial, but passion and determination matter more.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary for reliability on the road.
  • Strong communication skills to engage in meaningful conversations with customers.
  • Excellent time management skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable using technology and mobile devices for daily tasks.
  • Physically capable of walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.
