As a Sales Associate, you will have an exciting opportunity to grow your sales career with the industry leader. You will support the business plan through profitable revenue generation, gain hands-on training, and real-world experience in the field, selling to actual customers, impacting the company's bottom line, and increasing your skills and confidence!
Location: Anywhere within one of our 1200+ locations across North America. This position involves working in conjunction with local branches and independently. Must be within driving distance of a branch. Talk with our team today to discuss location opportunities and relocation!
Sales Development Program - What We Do:
- Improve time to productivity with automated learning paths and certification
- Provide structured coaching with weekly 1:1 sessions
- Gain confidence through video role plays, simulated scenarios, and ride-alongs
- Distribute bite-sized learning content regularly
- Utilize analytics for real-time achievement tracking and gap analysis
- Engage teams with gamification elements like leaderboards and badges
- Access sales content via internal and customer-facing tools
- Leverage AI for descriptive and predictive insights to maximize engagement
What you'll do:
- Qualify customer needs using CRM (Sales Force) and persuasive techniques
- Collect primary decision-maker contact information for future campaigns
- Identify and sell to new customers using marketing and sales tools
- Recover dormant customers with our value proposition
- Support branch operations and learn IT systems for quotes, sales, and reservations
- Coordinate with branch departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with Inside Sales Representatives to assess equipment needs, conduct demonstrations, and process quotations
- Negotiate rental and sales prices per policies
- Drive customer engagement at local events and promotions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred:
One year sales-related experience - Proven planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with at least 1 year of experience
- Strong presentation skills and sales orientation
- Teamwork and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable record
- Willingness and ability to relocate
