- Sustain inventory levels in the assigned regions while also keeping them orderly, appealing, and secure.
- Engage in teamwork with managers and peers to accomplish sales goals as a unified group.
- Use the POS system to process customer payments and complete transactions at the checkout.
- Execute customer refund and exchange transactions in accordance with established policies.
- Ensure that the authorized procedures for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards are followed.
- Generate price markers and promotional materials for merchandise. Arrange, tag, and present products.
- Ensure that your behavior and performance reflect the core values that the company stands for.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the company's compliance with safety protocols.
- Adhere to the prescribed procedures for answering phone calls as outlined by the company.
- Be willing to lend a hand in various parts of the store as the situation demands.
- Excel in a dynamic work environment by ensuring accuracy is upheld.
- Being 18 years or older is a requirement for participation.
- Proficiency in basic numerical operations.
- Customer service experience.
- Skill in multitasking and excelling in challenging circumstances.
- Obtaining forklift certifications through F&D could be a requirement for certain job placements.
- Passing a drug test is a prerequisite for obtaining certification to operate heavy equipment in states where it is permissible by law.
- The employee may be exposed to a warehouse atmosphere and operational vehicles periodically as part of their job responsibilities.
Physical/Sensory Requirements of In-Store Sales Associate:
- Necessary capacity to apply force occasionally in the range of 30-60 pounds, frequently in the range of 20-30 pounds, and constantly up to 20 pounds to move objects through lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or other forms of manipulation.
- The duties of the employee often involve using their hands and fingers for activities such as feeling or handling objects.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
