Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Sales
You are tasked with supporting revenue generation by successfully executing Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp initiatives, concentrating on key areas such as Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, jcp operations, and general operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Customer Service & Sales:
Greets and assists customers in finding products, delivering outstanding customer service; demonstrates customer service behaviors consistently; actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems; actively promotes company products and services; partners with team members effectively. - The Enterprise Fulfillment role involves monitoring the systems application, selecting merchandise orders, and confirming their fulfillment in the system. Additionally, it includes appropriately packing orders according to packaging standards and schedules, as well as promptly handling Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities.
- Responsible for the orderly arrangement and care of inventory at jcp, team members dedicate efforts to organizing and maintaining the stock area.
- Collaborates with merchandise associates/assistants in restocking store items or personally refills products from stock; contributes to the annual inventory review.
Performance Standards:
Maintains a constant adherence to specified performance expectations, covering different areas like shrinkage control, safety compliance, Omnichannel proficiency, customer service excellence, profit generation, efficiency improvement, and regular attendance.
- The position calls for individuals with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience
- For this position, having a Bachelor's degree or similar work experience is preferable, although a high school diploma or equivalent is essential
- Success is achieved through problem-solving and making sound decisions that drive sales, profit, and customer service enhancements. Tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and individuals hold themselves to high standards of accountability to deliver results. They show a readiness to adapt swiftly to changing situations with enthusiasm and a positive approach

For paid holidays, associates who are eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.
