Circana is looking for Project Scanning Associates in Wichita. Apply now to be part of this temporary, part‑time role, available from January 18 to March. First 25 applicants may receive priority.

About the Role

As a Project Scanning Associate, you will visit local retailers—grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores—to collect product information. Using a downloadable app on your personal device, you scan barcodes of products in stocking locations throughout the store. The data you provide helps our clients assess and improve product and store performance.

Responsibilities
  • Attend in‑store data collection sessions across various retailer types including Walmart, Kroger, Target, and independent outlets.
  • Operate a mobile app to scan UPC barcodes with the phone’s camera, completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete measuring and UPC scans in each stocked section, covering 20–35 hours of work per week depending on store size and project needs.
  • Maintain thoroughness and meet tight deadlines to deliver high‑quality data to clients.
  • Work independently with flexible hours, ensuring consistent daily performance.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
  • Available to start by January 18 and work through March.
  • Able to stand on foot for long periods and move throughout large stores.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching 6 feet in the air, and bending/stretching as required.
  • Can perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for an extended duration.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work independently.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Has reliable transportation with minimum state auto‑insurance coverage if required to drive.
  • Will travel up to 1 hour to complete projects at different locations.
  • Experience with virtual or online learning is a plus.
